Editor's note: Why do I want one of these? O yea, it's a Sonic HAT!"You may get burned for the umpteenth time by pre-ordering Sonic Colors before the reviews are in, but at least you'll get an awesome hat out of it. Reminiscent of the Scribblenauts "Rooster Hat" bonus, this Sonic hat is the worm on GameStop's hook for purchasing either the Wii or DS version of the game."

12 Vote(s)

"Sega cranked out several well-received Sonic games for 16-bit systems, but when the game made its belated leap to 3-D in 1999, Sonic lost his way. The character remains a popular mascot and lucrative cash cow for Sega - Sonic Unleashed, the latest game in the series, sold nearly 2.5 million copies even with a Metacritic ranking in the low 60s - but the quality of the games has dropped like a rock over the last decade."

9 Vote(s)

Michael called me at the time for help on this project, and that's what I did.And if he is not credited for composing the music, it's because he was not happy with the result sound coming out of the console.
Apparent Famitsu magazine scans are out, revealing what would appear to be the promised "Okamiden" game. We can't see the title in this scan, but if an Okami sequel and an unrelated game called Okamiden were revealed at the same time, it would be a pretty weird coincidence. If this is real, it shows a DS sequel to Clover Studios' beloved PS2 action-adventure game, which captures the original's watercolor style admirably, if a bit blockily. Of course, the DS is even more of a natural for the Okami paintbrush mechanic than the Wii is!

4 Vote(s)

WASD or the mouse controlled the wolf’s movements, and the spacebar initiated a bite once the wolf was close enough. What I assumed would be a pretty standard “oh look a deer run run run chase bite nom nom nom” bit of action-oriented gameplay quickly revealed itself to be long-term war of attrition against a single deer who quickly earned my hatred."

6 Vote(s)
