If this is someone's plush toy, we're a bit worried about its owner coming back to get him after dropping him in this Swedish town square! As part of this summer's openART biennale in Örebro, Sweden, Dutch artist Florentijn Hofman built this giant, 13-meter-high yellow bunny using local materials and craftsmen. Located near St. Nicolai church in the city center, Stor Gul Kanin (Big Yellow Bunny) questions the purpose of the public space and changes the perspective of the monuments within.

Imagine, if you will, a world—a world where the term "hyper artist" refers not to the subject matter of their oeuvre, but to the morphology of the artist themselves.

I suspect the art world would have been a very different place.

My advanced apologies to those who are familiar with the original Namuth photograph, and subsequently find they are unable to fap to this. I suppose that makes this image some bizarre variant on Rule 34.

In other news, I do believe I am now officially on the highway to Hell.

"I'm sure most of you have heard about the earthquake and subsequent tsunamis that have impacted so many countries, Japan taking the brunt of the damage. Our hearts go out to all of those who have been affected by this disaster. There have been many people saying things like "pray for Japan." While it is always important to feel sympathy and hope in situations such as this, taking action will always be the most important step that a person can take.

Therefore, we would like to set up a charity auction to benefit some of the organizations that are being and will be dispatched to help with the disaster, including the American Red Cross, Direct Relief International, Doctors Without Borders, Global Giving, and more (you can find a list of the many disaster relief efforts on this page: http://www1.networkforgood.org/help-survivors-pacific-quake-tsunami). Feel free to donate to any of those organizations through that page if you wish! Please keep in mind that these organizations will be helping with the disaster worldwide, so they need all the help they can get."

(Check your local toy and hobby shops.)

To browse to the toys from the main website, click on "La collection Papo", then on "Fantastiques". There are three pages of thumbnails; the second and third are the most interesting. Includes a centaur, a lion man, as well as an anthro rhino, tiger, crocodile, ram, and a bird man riding a griffin. Dragons, unicorns as well as regular animals are also part of their catalog.

Or search the web for the word "Papo" with any of the species above and you'll find more pictures and hopefully places selling them!
