Facebook, you likely either love it or hate it. The social networking giant seems to have been conducting maintenance on its user accounts for a few years focused on accounts for pets or animals. Mainly this seems to be driven by the network’s security policies to keep users from hiding behind another personality and not showing a profile page.
A conversation started on Twitter about the fact that there are more and more furry news outlets popping up and why don't we consolidate our efforts about make 1 big site?

Today we've renewed this domain for another two years. Hooray! We've also cleaned things up a bit. The big banner ads are gone so you get more content per page. All we have now is a very modest sidebox space for ads through Project Wonderful and donations via ChipIn. Why run ads and donations?
