Watch 'Coming soon: Fanboy Confessional' Play
Coming soon to Space Channel on July 13: Fanboy Confessional, a documentary mini-series from Markham Street Films. Judging by the trailer, some episodes will be looking at fans of furry, cosplay, zombies, and cyberpunk.

The extremely popular BoingBoing blog has mentioned furry fandom numerous times - usually doing the typical jokes, but perpetuating the negative stereotypes nonetheless. Recently they've started to do special Feature Articles, and Lisa Katayama has written a pretty good one, "Fur Fun: The inner lives of furries", an interview with fan and fursuiter Josh Strom.

"After two years since it first began asking for participants, The Furry Sociological Survey was published online on October 23rd, 2008. The study was based one of the earliest surveys of the furry community: The Sociology of Furry Fandom by David Rust, which was published online in 2001. Rust's survey is arguably one of the most known and referenced study of the furry community."
