Mary, John, Tim, Kurt, Luke, Caitlin, and Eliza packed up two cars and headed out to the burbs. We documented some of our experience. We have a wonderful overflow hotel with the Hampton Inn & Suites in Lincolnshire. They are once again providing a shuttle service to and from the Westin every half hour (Thursday 5pm-midnight, Friday-Sunday 8am-2am) and have nice rates (rooms at 99/night, suites with full size fridge and stove and microwave) at 129/night). I even hear they may be doing gift bags again for folks staying at the hotel.

We have returned from our post-convention hiatus, tanned and well-rested (OK, not really), and we’re ready to go to work on making Midwest FurFest 2009 our best yet. Why, you ask? Because our theme this year is:
