I've turned the vote-to-publish quota down to 3 as we haven't seen anything published to the front page in a few weeks. Let's see if this gets a few more links up there.
I changed the variable to send a link to the front page to 4 votes now. Sorry, but there's be a swarm of content hitting the front page the past couple days so we need slow things up a bit. It may drop back down to 3 if we hit another dry spell again.
A suicidal squirrel caused delays for early voters when it knocked out power for about 800 customers, including the Indian River County Library and Courthouse.
Due to the spike in traffic today, I've increased the number of votes to promote a link on the upcoming news page from 4 to 5. I'll be monitoring this for the next couple weeks to see how things play out.

We've reached the 100-user mark and as the site has become more active, I think now is a good time to bump the votes-to-publish back up to 4.
I've also tweaked the unvote function. The default pligg code base only allows to unvoting if the comes from the originating voting IP. That's been toned down a bit so if your IP changes you can still unvote an article.
I've also updated the live page (http://furryne.ws/live.php) to display the last 60 actions instead of the default 20.
I'm also considering adjusting the burying formula from 1.5 t
I noticed quiet a numer of articles in the queued section that met the minimum requirements to get placed on the front page, but they didn't get bump up. Now if this is a bug with the software or the work of an admin or both I'm not sure yet, but DON'T PANIC! I'm just cleaning up a little around here. Please resume your normal posting, voting, and burying duties. Thank you.
